I thought I'd send you a photo of my recent zentangle creations. A dear friend of mine from Holland sent me these Dutch wooden shoes. Since they really don't have much practical use here in the US, I thought they definitely needed zentangles and to be displayed in my home! Thought you might enjoy seeing the results.
Many thanks!
Thanks, BN, for that great picture! Really love your bold use of large areas of black - very striking.

Beautiful! Did you paint them white first? I've tried to gesso something, but the pen didn't seem to like it much.
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing. Love these different surfaces for Zentangles!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutly beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shoes!
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to tangle the crocs I have in my closet. Can anyone tell me what pen to use? (Heinani giggles)I live in a rainforest and I would like the ink to stay on the shoes and not on me.
Ooh! I have some wooden shoes from my visit to Holland about 30 years ago. (amazing how I'm still only 29!)
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me!
I am afraid they will not fit into my suitcase. Otherwise I could have taken a pair for everyone of you to the next CZT seminar.

Me too would like to know with what paint and/or pens they are made . . .
