I have been following your blog for some time now. I really enjoy it. I look forward to it every morning.
I have done a few (very few) Zentangles of my own and I did purchase your kit.
Anyway, recently I did a Zentangle and then translated it into polymer clay (my medium of choice). An on-line friend said I should send it to you, so here it is. No paint was used here, nor ink, just the colors of the clay the way I mixed them. Size of the clay Zentangle is around 9 by 11 inches.
You can view these and other Zentangle images at her Flickr site.
Thanks "rev byrd" for sharing that with us and everyone here.

It's just never ending where Zentangles go!
ReplyDeleteRev byrd, you have blown my mind this morning. No pen? Sheesh! This is really cool. I went to the Flickr site, too. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
GORGEOUS!!! What a way to start my day!
ReplyDeleteoooh! That's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you all. And thanks to Rick and Maria for publishing it. I'm hoping to do a lot more Zentangles in clay. Both clay and Zentangles are soothing and meditative for lots of folks, so it just seemed a natural.
ReplyDeleteThat is mind-boggling amazing. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteFair dinkum, it is hard to imagine how you did it! Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi revbyrd- I like you, love polymer clay and love this site and zentangles. Zentangles and clay seem a marriage made in heaven! Your work is beautiful and reminds me of the work of Heather at the purple door. How big is your piece and did you bake in one sitting or glue individually? What glue did you use? How did you get your clay pieces to sit perfectly flat? Sorry for all the questions but this is my type of work. Congratulations-cara
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea and design, thank you for sharing!
