Maria had so much fun challenging herself to do a Zentangle with just straight lines that she's looking for new challenges. If you have a challenging suggestion for creating a Zentangle, please offer it and we'll give it a go.

Bravo - what a wonderful piece. It is so dense with tangles yet the flow of them is graceful too. Thanks for sharing your work

Angie - it's gorgeous!!! congratulations on finishing it. I have a ways to go on mine still, can't wait to send the pic in though, thanks for inspiring me to finish it.
Thanks for sharing Rick and Maria.
Wow, Angie. Rich, deep and alive!. A real inspiration. Thanks!
re Challenge: One thing I like to do to get past my "same-olds" is to sit down with my tangle collection just do the next one I come to, whether I'm attracted to it at that moment or not. I find I have prejudices about what I think will be fun or interesting. This helps me move past the judgement and I am always surprised!
Angie - stunning work thanks for sharing it.
Two ideas for a challenge - one general one specific. Selecet a shape - create one where all the tangles used are triangles or the string is composed of only triangles.
Wish I knew more of the official tangles for this idea - Create another using paradox, bucky and a tangle (or 2) of your choice.
You did a fabulous job Angie, very intricate and very beautiful.
What a beautiful piece of artwork, Angie! Thanks for sharing. Truly inspirational!
Now that is pretty WOW ... I love how Angie has used all those tangle patterns.
I have been challenging myself in making more of the tangle patterns into quilt stitching patterns - they have to be continuous lines and boy have I been having fun with it.
Angie, I love it. I envy you your sense of composition - it's something I need to work on.
Re: the Challenge
- I would love to see some Zendalas by Maria.
- Also, a handprint Zentangle. in other words, You trace around your hand, then fill in with whatever tangles you deem appropriate.
Angie, so beautifully complex, intricate and amazingly tangled! You must have super patience and steady hand.
Maria, I have been practicing embellishing swirls and would love to see how you make your swirls flourish!
I think it would be fun to create a Zentangle using many variations of the same tangle. I've been going to do it with Crescent moon but any tangle would be interesting.

Angie, your work is just Beautiful!
It would be Great to see a Gallery of Master Class projects from those willing to post them. All of those I've seen so far are Soo-oo Inspiring . . .
Gathered together they'd be almost overwhelmingly incredible!
I'm current challenging myself with tangles I "don't like," (i.e. am not comfortable with)
WOW-zer! Angie! awesome!
makes me want to pull mine back out and work on it :>
thanks for sharing!

This is beautiful, Angie! I can't wait to be able to attend a CZT Seminar class from Maria and Rick. They have some many beautiful ideas!
Maria. I'm getting interested in learning Calligraphy. I bought a learning kit with a book and 3 pens, plus I'm getting another book with more about Calligraphy through the Book Club I belong to. I already own the dip pens of different points.
