  2. Gorgeous flow. I'm loving the triangle thing you're doing. And the more I see the Morris-inspired technique, the more I love the layers it creates.

  3. I like yours, Maria. The mookas on the lower left side does remind you of a butterfly. Love the background too of the black beads.

  4. that is so awesome....loving the layers and the line work. I really like the depth created by the dark circles at the mid right and the spreading things over them (sorry, don't know if those have a name). you are truly and inspiration.

  5. Maria, this is lovely and Mookalishish! The Morris technique does add a whole new dimension to your already beautiful tangles.

  6. Quite beautiful. Tipple on black... must try that! Nice undulating 'stems' on Mooka.

  8. Luscious, it's like a fairy dell at dusk just when the fairies snuggle down for the night!

  10. Wow, Maria, this is so DEEP! In the larger white sections with the delicate black lines -- did you put down the white area and then draw in the black after it was dry? And can you shade in the white sections with pencil? Looks like that's what you did, but I can't tell for sure.

I'm on tenterhooks to find out which black paper you're recommending -- I haven't been too happy with the white gel pens on the papers I've tried so far, but I haven't been able to find really GOOD black paper in nearby stores.

This makes me think of the new spring plants we're finally getting up here!

  12. This piece was done on a regular Zentangle tile. I started with the 01 micron, did my usual tangles then went in and filled in the black spaces. When that was dry, I went in with the gel pen.
We are experimenting with the back paper, looking for the perfect combination of pen and paper, and will announce it soon. Thanks everyone for you support and participation. Life is good. M
