Sending loving thoughts for peace and understanding during your tender time. May you know how much each life blesses another, and how much the ripples continue to flow back and forth. We are so grateful for your lives that flow from your dear mothers. Marie English
Sending my condolences. I know how hard it is to say goodbye to a parent. The zentangle Maria did in her honor tells me she was someone special. May God bless you and your family during this time and always.
Our deepest sympathy for your loss. May your fond memories comfort you during this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hugs, Linda and Rob
I'm sorry for your loss. This is my first visit to your blog. I was introduced (formally) to Zentangles just yesterday. I am smitten, and have already done 2 of them. I have purchased more books (bought one yesterday, and ordered the rest today). I also subscribed via email. I think this is going to be great for me as I can't draw in the artistic sense of the word. I'm primarily a rubber stamper, but I can see the 2 worlds melding very nicely. Hugs and thoughts of healing energy, Rockin Robin C
I lost my mum, my best friend, 11 years ago. I have held on to my good memories to keep it alive. My prayers with you with my empathy understanding. Hold on to good memories and time will heal you along with your family's and friends' support.
I am sad to hear of your loss, I hope your precious memories will help you go through the tough times that will come after such a loss. With love ... Jane
What a gift that you were in each others' lives, and that you were able to spend so much time with her and send her off "to fly" as Margaret says. Love to all of you.
Even when it's expected, nothing prepares us for this. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that there are lots of thoughts and prayers for your Mom, for you, and for your family.
She is as close as your breath, you will see her in many things you do, your very being was inspired by her life example. I believe life is eternal and she has but turned the corner away from your view. How blessed you are to have her for your mother. With love to you both.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. The joy and freedom in your Zentangle is beautiful. Mooka always reminds me of motherhood. The swirl between Betweed looks like hugs. All this, together with the hearts, inside the basket is very protecting..and the soaring lines are joyful. Hold tight to your favorite memories....
My thoughts are with you and your family. This is a poem my mother left for us to read after she passed away. It has often brought me comfort when I long for her presence. I Did Not Die
Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and forever cry. I am not there. I did not die. Mary E. Fry
Sending hugs and sympathy to you along with heart felt tears...that are flowing now as I write this. May God grant you peace and strength in the days ahead. How wonderful and comforting that you were close by her until the end. What a beautiful tangle tribute too. "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" - Matt 5:4
My deepest sympathy, my mom passed away in August at the age of 91; it's never easy to say goodbye - but it is such a blessing to be together when the time comes.
May nature touch you with compassion, bless you with sunlight, and send gentle rain to quietly weep with you. May the breeze whisper life that never ends, only that it is changed - that it continues forever in a world more beautiful than our words can describe. My thoughts are with you and your family.
NO words can take away the pain of the loss of a loved one. but know that there are so many of us that wish you peace as you find your way through this difficult time. Hugs and prayers for your family.
What a beautiful legacy of love your Mom leaves through you, your family and the ever widening circle of people you influence. May the Lord surround you all with peace. Continued prayers for you, Sarah Higgins
