Happy Valentine's Day!

We try to dangle and wrangle

Our lives into something new-fangled.

But sometimes its better to

Not let it fetter you.

Perhaps we should all get Zentangled!

  4. I have to say I'm really drawn to the fifth one, as it seems to speak about the wonderful Zentangle community: love nestled in the core, and growth all around it. Thank you.

  7. How did you do the background on the first one? I love the depth and interwoven look, rather like love.

  8. I did this one a while ago.. . .pulling it out of the archives. . . .I think I tinted the background with some watery walnut ink, let it dry and then did the stripes with a graphic one black. Knowing me, I probably went back in with a brush and shaded with the walnut ink. It was more than likely a day when the brush and ink was by my side for some other project and just happened to be handy.. . . although I usually do have a brush and ink handy OR in my hand! maria
