These "creatures" are just too much fun!
It's like starting a Zentangle tile with great music playing (the kind you just have to start dancing even if you're sitting down), or watching some cool fireworks, walking into the middle of a great party.
I found you can stuff them with just about any delicious tangle, though I have not tried them all, yet.
But, perhaps I will.
Try it. You might just find a little love in there somewhere! :-)

Very very LOVEly! And some good ideas to try. I'm most partial to the first tile with the flashes of red. Love to you all!
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful inspiration! Thank You!
ReplyDeleteevery single one is beautiful and inspiring, as usual! thanks for sharing all the hearts! Happy V-day to all of you!
ReplyDeleteOhhh Ahhhh Razzmatazz!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, yummy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteOnce again it's hard to pick a favorite. Wonderful ideas....
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to be reminded of the simplicity of Zentangle. We (I) seem to be so intent on learning new patterns, when all we need to do is work with what we already know and grow more tangles from the old familiar patterns. Sorta like comfort food.
ReplyDeleteAwwws, I love the wee wooden hearts and those spirals are a cool idea, too. Thanks and hope you had a happy valentine's day. One of my students said today is even better because all the candy is on clearance! Lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for this inspiration, I love to work with spirals.
ReplyDeleteBut I think the real Spiral queen is Shelly Beaugh with her spiral guide http://shellybeauch.blogspot.nl/p/spiral-guide.html
Amazingly beautiful and spectacular as always. Love all your wonderful work and some wonderful stuff to try out. Thanks for sharing and especially caring. Julie
ReplyDeleteSo many great ideas to try - I especially love the string heart in the last tile.
ReplyDeleteThese all bring great joy to the eye and heart. Than you for sharing them all
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at your tangles. This time is no exception! TFS as usual! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI always have to save reading your posts to the end of my computer time so I don't feel rushed. It is always a real treat to see what all of you are up to! Thanks for sharing!

I have taken the step of getting a sketch pad (acid free paper, spiral bound)and a Sakura pigma micron pen. Now I am almost paralyzed with anxiety and fear. I wish that I was doing something less intimidating, like public speaking or going to the dentist. I don't know who to talk to about this, so I'm posting it here. How can I get past the terror of knowing that I'm going to do it wrong, and just get down to actually *doing* it wrong?
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteJust wondering what the "grid" tangle over the spiral on the black tile is - LOVE it!!
Hi Tracey
ReplyDeleteIt's just a double line grid with little black beads in the corners. . . .very simple.

Robert,
ReplyDeleteEmail me directly about your concerns and I will talk you "down from the cliff".

Beautiful tiles, as usual! Maria, you might want to write a blog post some day to address the concerns expressed by Robert -- I'm sure it would be of interest to many of us sitting on the edge of that cliff!
ReplyDeleteThese make me even more excited for June in RI. Your endless creativity is so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to my blog where you will find my photos and text from my letter. I can't wait to see the two of you on CBS!
