Snowflakes

Toni Henneman, CZT, created this original Zentangle inspired art for her family's Christmas card.



Inside, along with a picture of her family, was this quote from Emily Warburton:

We are each of us a snowflake
of infinite design
Transitory dancers
on the window panes of time

    Really beautiful. The tile shape is the perfect window pane. This would be fun to do as an ensemble with a group. The quote is awesome, too. Thanks Toni!

    This would be a great class exercise in understanding negative space. Just mask or outline an object, draw a tangle beyond the outline and fill in with patterns. Most people would never think of this. Great job, Toni, from a technical standpoint and truly beautiful from an artistic standpoint.
