One String, Eyes Shut
For Laura Harms' Challenge #3 of an "eyes wide shut" string, Maria created . . .
Thanks for that challenge, Laura. (There's more to this story . . . !)
Quite lovely! I like the very dark "berries" at the bottom. And the "pineapple" (which used to be a symbol of hospitality a century or so ago in North America - appropriate for Rick and Maria, no?).
is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
We believe that life is an art form and that the Zentangle method is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life.

Love how "cheery" the edges are. Beautiful! And we would love to hear the 'more' of the story!
That is lovely! I love the swirliness of it.
I love the "pineapple" in the center.
Beautiful! More? Do tell...

beautiful! I'd love to hear the rest of the story and to see the original string.
When the eyes are closed ~ we look within ~ Maria ~ within this tile ~ somewhere ~ there is a string
Beautiful!
Memories of a trip to Paris arise… Must be the kind of 'art déco' I´m seeing when I´m looking at this ZT.
Phine, you are so right!! More info to come. Maria
Beautiful - I see the pineapple too - mmmmmm, my mouth is watering - looking forward to the rest of the story...
