We are so thrilled to welcome and introduce to everyone the newly graduated and students and now CZTs of Seminar XI!
Here's the collaborative which everyone tangled:
Here is our first group mosaic:
. . . with a random close-up:
Each student tangled the back of their name tag. Here's a peek at a few of them:
We enjoyed a session about working on black tiles and tangling with black ink on top of white ink and white shading: (Speaking of black tiles, we also announced in this newsletter that we just released Black Zendala Sets.)
Lots of students brought work they created. Here's a very small sampling.
This next one is actually 3D:
Quilting (with detail):
Here are some examples of using tangles as textures and colors. Note how some tangles morph to suggest shading.
There was so much more to see and share. This is such a small sampling, but we trust it gives you an idea of how much fun we all have at our CZT seminars.
Please check this link to find a CZT near you.
Now that we are settling back down after seminar we will return to posting more frequent blogs.
As always, thank you for your comments!

The kimono girl tangles are amazing. I love looking at them! Thanks for posting so many samples/ideas on the blog.

I always love to hear about a new CZT class. I love all the work, especially the Japanese dolls.

Just think - - these folks were so talented coming into Seminar...just imagine what they will be inspired to create now!

Love the group effort, always do. Also love the first of the student examples (Pilgrim?) and the #D piece: what a good idea! Also, oh my, the etched jewelery. So many delights!
WELCOME to all the elevenses!
Wow. So nice. The CZT close to me never replied. :/ My google account won't recognize me, so anonymous it must be.
What amazing work! I am signed up for the October class and can not wait. I am looking forward to learning all kinds of new things, especially those tangles that I don't know yet. Only 2 1/2 months to go!
Amazing pieces, all of them. I too am going in October, and am very excited!
Oh my word - I am just blown away by the stunning work!!

Please try your local CZT again. . . this is vacation time and most folks are generally busy as a rule. Or perhaps there is another CZT to try. . . .but please don't give up. . . .keep on tangling until you find someone. We have a nice group of new CZT's just listed, maybe one of those. . . .maria (and rick)
Welcome, CZT 11's! I always love these posts welcoming the new classes too. Every piece in this post is beautiful! Thanks for sharing their beautiful work with all of us....it makes me want to come back for another class, CZT4 seems so long ago!
Oh my, the creativity is aweinspiring! I would love to attend one of these days. Is it possible to purchase any of that zentagle jewelry?
I too am signed up for October and cannot WAIT to be a part of this truly amazing process. These examples are so inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
Yes, so very inspiring...and a wee bit intimidating! I'm also looking forward to being there in October and feel like I should get busy practicing ;o)
It's always fun to see a new group of Czts come about. More than that, so see how much fun (the show and tells) they've already had with Zentangle. The seminar will only add to the passion they obviously already have! Thanks for sharing the 11s. Carole
The CZT seminar XI was an amazing experience. I have participated in many professional development seminars ver the years and this training was, by far, the best organized, most efficient and all around delightful training ever! Thanks to Molly, Sue, Martha, Jane, Maria and Rick and everyone else behind the scenes for creating such a wonderful experience for us. The spirit of generosity, compassion, openness and integrity that you exemplify are true gifts to the world of business. I wish you continued prosperity. Thanks for welcoming us into the CZT community.
