On the seventh day of 3Zs
Bijou offered me
Dark and naughty knightsbridge . . .
Swirling molygon-ings,
Gold, glowing tipples,
Some marasu encircling,
Winsome bits of shattuck,
Fetching diva dancing,
And a tile full of tripoli!
Alfie wants to show you this shell (no, it's not Bijou!) because it reminds him of knightsbridge mixed with marasu.
When it came time to arrange this mosaic of 28 3Zs, Alfie at first felt overwhelmed.
But then in true Zentangle fashion of one tile at a time, pretty soon he had assembled this exquisite mosaic.
He was quite happy to discover that when he trusted himself, he easily created something he wanted to share with others.

Thank you all for continuing to play with these twelve days!
The hashtag for today's tile is: #7thdayof3zs
To see the guidelines for these 12 days, go here.
We will give out a prize for one randomly chosen poster of each day's tiles on the app and also for one randomly chosen commenter on each day's blog post. (We'll announce the winners shortly after the twelfth day.)
And here's knightsbridge:
See you tomorrow!

Lovely! I've been needing another drama tangle to jazz things up a bit!
This is one of my absolute favorites.
A bold staple kind of tangle!
I foresee a lot of drama for day 7!
It sure is growing.
Dark and naughty... I love it! What fun can I get into now! Continuing to enjoy this challenge. My thanks to all of you!
Ah, the regal Knightsbridge! Perfect!
I Love Knightsbridge!
Knightsbridge lends itself to so many ideas. Thanks!
Knightsbridge is another favorite! Love seeing all the beautiful tiles on the Mosaic app!
Love hearing Alfie'S fun stories! And he sure knows how to set up a beautiful mosaic!
The perfect tangle to add contrast and drama! Having so much fun with the daily challenges. I will be sad when they are over.
The royal knightsbridge ! Love it ! Jackie CZT XIII
This tangle has been hands-down my favorite and most used tangle. Thanks for including Knightsbridge 😀
So cool to see what such a simple pattern and a little imagination can do! Knightsbridge is a staple
Love dark and naughty as well as bright and nice Knightsbridge, in fact anyway it is served up. The above are beautiful exhibits of its versatility from foundatonal strong 'bricks' to fluttering checkered cloths all adding drama with its bold coloring. Thanks for bringing this to the fore as we start the second half of this challenge!
Love Knightsbridge! It's going to add a lovely bold contrast.
Naughty or nice...the mosaic of 3zs...is delightful.
This will be a great addition to the other 6 tangles!
Wow ... just gorgeous 3Zs tiles! And the mosaic are great!!
I do love Knightsbridge!!
I like how you turned the Knightsbridge to give it rounded edges. :-) looks like a pillow.
Love the drama Knightsbridge adds!
Fascinating to see the same strings appearing & yet the tiles looking utterly different, shall have to go back over the days & see if there's a system in the strings......... Alfie certainly has his work cut out with all the tiles being arranged, I can see if he were to prevaricate he'd never get started & that's one of the most important lessons that tangling teaches............ get started
Yah! Knightsbridge is my favorite tangle.
Spectacular what that little Alfie can do with these 3S tiles, he has a lot of talent!(LOL)
Oh Goody! I was hoping Knightsbridge would pop up:-) That Mosaic is amazing. I'm quite inspired to keep going past day 12 so I can build a collection like this.
Knightsbridge provides a nice contrast to balance some of the other tangles. The shell is cool. My fourth grade tanglers point out connections to nature--and manmade structures all the time!
I will never look at Knightsbridge the same way again... Dark and Naughty - wow!
Dark and naughty? LOL. This is such fun.
Thank you so much for the (dark and naughty) smile! :-)
I do like the way Knightsbridge adds some "dark and naughty" to the tile!
Love this one. It's an old staple for me.
Knightsbridge.... so simple yet bold. Looks so different tiny vs. big and very square vs. more harlequinesque, so you can really get variety!
Downhill from here... this has been such a fun challenge!! 😄😄
Loving seeing all these tiles. I can't wait till evening to joininthevfun. Thank you!
I love the power of simplicity in these patterns! :)
Nice, I know this one, let's see how I can work it in to all the others!
The mosaics the tiles are forming are fantastic!
Wow, they look so incredible! Knightsbridge is probably the first tangle I ever really noticed, and it will always remain a fave of mine. It is so simple, but has so much untapped promise. I love it.

This is so much fun! I don't want it to end!
I love how dramatic Knightbridge is on the tiles! It's one of my "go to" tangles! The mosaic continues to grow in beauty! Thank you for sharing!
What lovely work! Knightsbridge is such a versatile tangle and the many looks here definitely prove that! Thanks so much for all you do for all of us. Alfie is a super helper in designing the mosaics!
One of my first tangles. It will be nice to revisit this one. Haven't used it in a while.
Most versatile tangle that Knightsbridge. It is so striking.
Whoo hooo!!! Knightsbridge is one of my "go-to" tangles:-)
The mosaic is looking fabulous! Alfie has quite the imagination. And I can't help singing the song!

Knightsbridge is always one of my favourites. So dramatic, but so versatile!
Much more to Knightsbridge than meets the eye
Another great tangle and wonderful tiles
How exciting to be adding drama! Or should I say more drama! I love it!
I seem to have ended up challenging myself to do a monotangle each day - which makes Knightsbridge quite a challenge - how to get interest in with only that tangle. But then of course, there is shading!
Knightsbridge, one of my many favorites, so many variations.
I enjoyed Alfie's learning process and lesson about trusting himself. Also the shell combining knightsbridge and marasu - gorgeous and a beautiful example of recognizing patterns in everyday life.
Again - so many lovely and so different tiles!!
These are all so inspiring!!! Such beauty from a collection of single strokes. Thank you.
Love, love. love!
Beautiful embellishments to Knightsbridge!
I'm finding it helpful / inspirational to see the basic tangles not only named and stepped out, but done in variations, and also not in the typical square --- "outside the box," as they say.
I like the way these new tiles play together!
Knightsbridge, you look fabulous anywhere I put you!💕✍🏻️💕
I love what you did with knightsbridge, all so different. I use it a lot when I want some dark to contrast with the lighter tangles.
I'm enjoying the journey with Bijou and Alfie.
How much fun you must have! Thanks for sharing your joie de vivre with us every day.
so much fun - thank you
Oh Knightsbridge is pretty. Loving your tiles!
Oh, how I wish I were able to watch this whole unfolding in person 💚.
Can't believe I am keeping up!
This was one of the first tangles I learned in when I began tangling in January 2016. Love it!
Now with Knightbridge is it a great combination again.
For me, Knightbridge is the parent of the grids and is so much fun with which to play!
Triangle tiles are the best
Interesting ways to use Knightsbridge!
Ah, Knightsbridge is always fun to do and I love to see the interesting ways that you use it!
Knightsbridge is one of my favorites!
Never thought of knightbridge as naughty.
