Molly came up with a new tangle that we call fife. We give instructions for it in this newsletter.
Here are some of Molly's Zentangle tiles which show what you can do with fife.
I think Indy helped Molly with this next one:
Thanks, Molly (and Indy) for that wonderful collection!
There's much more to read in this newsletter, so please take a look if you haven't already.

What a great tangle pattern! In the simple form, like in the third example, it is a quilting pattern called Jacobs Ladder which makes a stunning quilt. I anxiously await the publication of the news letter so I can see how the overlapping is most easily achieved (I looked but there was no Nov newsletter yet at 6:15). Thanks.
yummy. yummy. yummy. thank you!!
It resembles, but isn't, Laura Harms' tangle Versa. I'll definitely try this one out once the newsletter arrives! Looks lovely Molly!

Nice! btw..love Indy's input :)
YES, Margaret, it is (as we just discovered) similar to DIVA's tangle "VERSA"...you can see it here

Molly approached it from a different direction than a grid....and finished with a "flower of life" pattern.....
As Zentangle grows, I see this happening more often, so with apologies to Laura, and good intentions from Molly,.......let's enjoy this once again. Maria
Thanks for another "official tangle pattern" I too am having trouble keeping up with all of the new names and patterns that are being published. The hundredth monkey effect appears to be surfacing. Tangles are growing at the speed of light. I'm slow to use a tangle that I've been inspired to create or that is not in our "official" list for fear of becoming "entangled." In the string figure world the same pattern can have different names, stories and chants depending upon who is making them. I'd love some help in "tying" this all together.
Beautiful new Zentangle patron. I am a beginner and just started with twoo tangles. But I love it and I will do more with it.
These art work is vervy very beautiful Molly and Indy.
Lovely greet from Holland

lovely ! i will certainly try it :)
wondering if an "OFFICIAL" Zentangle pattern book is something you may be thinking about doing ? i know new patterns are added all the time but that is what vol 2,3,4 etc will be for :)
i am a Zentangle addict!
Thanks for the new pattern - it is beautiful ... I have to say that I don't use patterns other than Official Zentangle or my own ones as I just get confused with the volume. At least I know if I do something I can remember where the patterns are from for referencing if I need to. Besides, there is so much variety with Zentangle patterns and my own imagination! The fact we use different stuff is really what keeps our drawings look so beautiful and individual. Thank you Molly for this lovely addition.
Another great one, though it reminds me more of, Versa -Laura's tangle, then of bales.
Fife will be another favourite, the flower of life goes round and round into a blissful blossom!
