It is my sister Sue's birthday. I created 3 tiles with mirasu. This coiled tangle was inspired by those little "weavings" my older sisters would teach me to do with an old spool and nails when I was very young.
Marasu comes from my sisters' names, Madeleine, Rachel and Sue. I'm going to have her pick one of them.
Which one will she choose?

It's always hard to choose from you work since they are all so special. But I think I might choose the bottom one. Or the top one?
There ARE a few black- eyed susans tucked in the bottom one..... but I won't point those out to her and we'll see if she sees them! This was a fun project. m
How amazing. I love your work and the way you name your pieces. I am trying to learn. I have a granddaughter who is a whiz of this. She uses it for therapy and it works.

Congrats with your sister!
They're all very beautiful!!! But I would pick the second one! That's my favorite!

Isn't variety really the spice of life!!! I fell for the first one...but that is what we love for individualism, isn't it!! Happy Birthday, Sister!
These are all so fabulous but my favorite is #2. Of course if someone were to give me any of these I would love which ever one I was given. They are all wonderful.
Number 2 even though they are all cool, that one is really extra cool.
One lucky sister! I love that the tangle creation is connected to all your sisters, and that it all comes back around and around and around:)
They are all wonderful, but my favorite is the third one with all the black eyed susans. How wonderful to have three sisters!
Oh Maria Marasu is one of my very favourite patterns (and Sue is just lovely) I'm pretty sure she will have a hard time deciding which one to choose.
Such a marvellous choice but I think the......3rd one, this tile looks a bit cheeky!
If I was your sister ~ I would be going round and round ~ just like marasu ~ not knowing which one to choose ~ they are all special
Happy Birthday, Sue!!!
