Day 3

On the third day of Christmas
My true love got from me . . .

Three bottle gift tags

-----+-----

Close-ups:

Molly's tag is a tangled Zentangle ATC tile with a hole cut to fit a bottle top.

Maria threaded a silk ribbon through a small hole and knotted it.

Rick taped a beaded chain pull to the back of his bottle tag.

My niece will love a bunch of these to attach to the bottles of wine from Peaceful Bend Valley, their winery in Missouri! I'd better get busy!

beautiful gift tags

Suzanne Johnson said...

For non-wine drinkers, this would also be great to put on one of those decorative bottles of olive oil or peppers...or anything!

Opening each day's idea is like a beautiful Advent calendar! So fun!

Talagal said...

Loving these! Bottles make great gifts that are usually appreciated but I think they can seem a little impersonal - these tags are beautiful and show you've spent some time and effort on the gift. I'll definitely be making these.

I really like the hole-punched card - what a good idea! This will probably make the tag more appreciated than the wine!!

The hole punched card is a great idea - can be used for more than just wine bottles too!

I like that these ideas are doable by the average person and you don't have to be a 10 year veteran tangler to do them.

With a beautiful like like these, you could use them on anything from olive oil to hot sauce to dessert wine! Makes them all special.

Gift tags are a great idea as they can be used all year long.

Paula (PEP) said...

As I was looking at Malbec I realised the chain holding it is echoed in the tangles, so I looked at Cheers - sure enough the the flowing banner of lettering is reflected in the ribbon holding that; & the first one with the hole - the tangles are circular or orb shaped. I wonder what other things you are going to hide in these 12 days……...
