Rick's Notes:
Molly created this wallet using white and black Zentangle ATC tiles, clear packing tape and a snap.
These pennies are ones that Maria and I found as we walk together. We treasure every little thing we encounter and these pennies, full of color, character and history, are some of our favorites.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little pocket!
ReplyDeleteVery clever idea!
ReplyDeleteDear Abbey calls these "pennies from heaven," as they often seem to be messages from loved ones who have died. Have you experienced that?
ReplyDeletePenny penny pick me up
ReplyDeleteAnd all day long you'll have good luck!
What special treasures to place in such a special treasure holder! Another wonderful project! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDecorative duck tape wallets have been outclassed here! Beautiful and sentimental idea!

This little coin case is just adorable! I can see it holding other things as well. Would be a neat presentation case for jewelery too!
Such a cute idea! And I love the story about cherishing the small things you find along life's journey :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother unique idea. Nice to slide a gift card into for Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteEvery day I look forward to this post. So lovely. I think that treasuring the pennies is just so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLoving the ideas from the Zentangle family. Thanks for treating us like family and sharing so many ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love the creativity that you share. What an inspiration. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little coin wallet. I love picking up, and collecting, pennies too. Sadly, our Canadian government has recently phased our penny out, so they're much harder to find now!
ReplyDeleteThe story about the pennies was charming.
ReplyDeleteI love the words: We treasure every little things we encounter.
ReplyDeleteThe wallet is beautiful!
It's amazing what can be done with very little materials to work with. Yes, this little wallet looks like it used ATC's to begin with. Well, they always say that ingenuity is the mother of invention. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWith all the things you make with duck tape, and now packing tape, I love the tangles wallet from tiles. For some reason the black on white just is outstanding to me.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile! I just found a penny yesterday!
ReplyDeleteA very lovely way of keeping the pennies from your walks - they're such good ways of keeping memories too. The tangled wallet makes them all the more special.

ReplyDeleteWhen I see coins on the ground I leave them be, hoping they will be found by a child or someone who needs them more than me. I delight in the pleasure they have the potential to bring someone else.
I'm always glad to see uses for my tiles. This one is useful--and easy!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! Love this clever use of ATCs!
ReplyDeleteDelightful! Molly should post coin-purse making instructions on her blog!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Is there ANYTHING that can't be made out of zentangle ATC cards? So COOL! And, I'm so glad that your walks bring you exciting treasures that create fun memories of special time together!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a little keepsake wallet. I, too, collect pennies (a habit I picked up from my dad).
ReplyDeleteI never not pick up a penny! I beleive in cherishing the smallest of God's blessing or how else can I beleive and expect to desire more from Him.
ReplyDeleteOh the things you do with ATC's! I'm so inspired!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to make one (bunches?) of these. I just happen to have snaps and a need for a cute little wallet!

ReplyDeleteI never pass up a penny. Learned that from my dad!
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteMolly the innovative one! This is a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if a gift card would fit inside? I love the idea, tho, of a special container for tiny personal keepsakes like your "found" pennies. Mmmmm ...

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely precious.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so cute, and definitely unique!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! It would make a lovely presentation for Christmas money gifts.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make a business card holder like this - very classy
ReplyDeleteNow I can see this working for my students who save "Pennies for Patients" as a service project. I encourage them to save the found coins which then will have a greater impact on someone's life. Having them in their own tangled purses will set that money apart, consecrate it, if you will, to a higher purpose.
ReplyDeletelove that there is yet another way to use the ATC's.. and I love the eight pennies.
ReplyDeletenow one for you.... and aunt used to give her nephew a bag of pennies every Christmas...she was his "Penny Ante". :D

ReplyDeleteWonderful idea and I think this one is very lovely. I am wondering how to apply the snap...is there a certain glue to use or did you actually sew it onto the paper?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
