I have a silly question: Your Zentangles are beautiful and inspiring. But what do you personally do with them? I mean, you must have hundreds -- if not thousands -- of them by now. The mantlepeice can hold just so many pictures at a time.
In answer to your question...what could I possibly do with all my Zentangles?........It's sort of like photos of the grandchildren......can you have too many? I stick them up all over the house.... in the bathroom mirrors... on shelves... I sneak them into our kids' houses.... I keep a selection of them in my purse and give them (without thoughts) to strangers (waitresses, neighbors in a post office line, or just for fun) I sneak them in to some of our orders for supplies, and I still have stacks of them around....and I love going through them and remarking, "wow I don't even remember doing this!" and I get to appreciate it all over again.( This is where short-term memory can be a real plus...... ) Many, I mean MANY, have been framed and grace the walls of the studio and gallery and we have sold a bunch. But I still just like having the stacks around...... maria
is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
We believe that life is an art form and that the Zentangle method is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life.
