Varnish Time!

Our Master Class project, a 42 inch square Zentangle silhouetted sailboat, is ready to varnish!

This was a fun project and we look forward to creating posters with this image.

We are grateful for all the wonderful images and stories you send. Please excuse us if we don't respond right away or share everyone we receive, but each one is like a treasure to us. Thank you so much.

Beautiful! I love the idea of drawing in the negative space around the shape instead of inside the shape. Well done everyone!

What a floaty, yet lively, sea of tangles! It's a real testament to the energy of communal art. Thanks for posting the finished piece.

I often wonder at the different ideas and how the nerves flutter when putting pen to very special paper!

The finished piece looks beautiful! I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to participate in this unique project. Thank you for all that you do to stimulate and nurture the muse within.

this is just so unique, I too love tne negitive space tangle. I think I will have to try this on one of my inkidoodles (ink kid doodles)children that I draw doing tangles in the negitive space would be fun.

This piece, just to make it clear, was a collaborative effort of app. 30 Certified Zentangle Teachers, me and Rick. Rick and I did the original concept and design, but the rest is whatever the CZTs wanted to tangle. They made excellent choices in a confident and exuberant manner! We all had fun in the process.
