Scrunch!

Maria was working on a large Zentangle and decided she didn't like it. She scrunched it up and tossed it in the trash.

Then she looked at it.

"Now I like it!"

She took it out, varnished it (MinWax polyurethane) and now it's in our gallery.

So true, Carole - I have a couple early ones that I don't really care for but have not tossed out - more than once when I've been showing folks Zentangles someone has liked my "ugly ducklings" more than the others - beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for rescuing this one!

Maria - the varnish - do you spray or brush it on? Any special tips for varnishing paper? Thanks

It's fantastic to see a zentangle become a 3-dimensional object! I could see this becoming a form on it's own!

if it is a flat piece of paper, I use a sponge brush. if it is 3 dimensional, I use spray, but generally I don't like spray.......too messy. maria

Jhugi,
That's our tile paper, but just a larger sheet.
