A Zentangle in Silk

"NP" sent us an email with a beautiful rendition of a Zentangle in silk.

She describes her process,
This was done using a water-based resist and heat-set silk paints on an 11 x 11 scarf.  The scarf was ironed onto freezer paper to make it easier to work on.
What a natural medium for Zentangle inspired creations! Thank you for sending that.

I played with silk scarf painting a few years ago, before I found Zentangle. This piece reminds me of how much fun it is. Silk painting is a natural medium, especially since the process itself is very relaxing. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.

This is sooo beautiful. The patterns are terrific on silk.the silk dyeing process is lovely as the colour "bleeds" into the silk...Thanks for posting.
